BooYay! Holiday Edition.

I hope everyone is enjoying their (holiday) weekend! We're down the shore in Cape May, NJ with Jeff's parents. Being that we're down here, I don't really have too much access to any of my crafty stuff.  I did bring along my Smash Book, and I plan on writing a bit later. But to keep in touch, I thought I'd come up with another round of BooYay!

Boo - Long power outages in the middle of the night (Friday)
Boo - Holiday Traffic, especially on the Garden State Parkway
Boo - Still waiting for the NFL to strike a deal; I should be thinking about mini-camps!
Yay - Long weekends
Yay - Fireworks
Yay - Lots of picture-taking and scrappy possibilities

What's everyone else feeling today?

Weekend Update!

Merry Sunday! I hope everyone had a good weekend so far. Just thought I'd do a little update today on everything going on around here---in a little format I like to call Boo/Yay!. Its my take on Cheers and Jeers--cause really; who says Jeers?

Boo -- Pitt (my bracket national champion) losing yesterday in an absolutely crazy end game!
Boo -- This week has been absolutely horrific for headaches; although I think the hardest part now, is just trying to help other people understand them.
Yay -- So much creative time this weekend, and it felt great to really be artsy again.
Yay -- American Crafts Zing; I'm just a LITTLE obsessed. Last month from the SC store I bought White, Mustard, Teal, and Leaf. I'm probably going to allow myself two more colors this month---Which ones should I buy? All suggestions welcome!
Yay -- On Friday, Jeff and I are going to Atlantic City with my mommy and daddy! We're gonna go to dinner at Wolfgang Puck's American Bistro.
and one last...
Super Yay -- omg!! MORE Billy Joel songs are coming out for Rock Band 3 on Tuesday!

I leave everyone with a picture of my spoiled kitty cat (who lives at my mom's house) and--since she got sick a few months ago--will only drink water out of human cups set on the coffee table in the living room.

PS -- I've really been slacking in the Media consumption department this week with all the NCAA basketball that has been going on; but I did watch Apollo 13 for the first time, and it was so good--And there are just SO many famous people in that movie!

BooYay! Saturday--late night edition.

Yay - OB Tampons are gonna be back on shelves soon --now you wont have to buy OB Ultra Fluid Lock tampons - Lot of 5 boxes: qty 200 - eBay
Boo -  Maybe the most terrifying product ever. The Snazzy Napper
Yay - Football tomorrow! The last day of real football before the Super Bowl. Let's Go Jets!
Boo - Weather Forecast says at least another FOOT of snow on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. OMG.
Yay - Two concerts this week! Brad Mehldau @ Carnegie Hall on Wedesday, and Sharon Jones and the Dapp Kings next Saturday.
Boo? Yay? Idk? - My last week before my 25th birthday. I think I'm feeling boo right now.

And I'll leave you with a picture of the AMAZING muffins I made. Here's a link to the recipe. They were so so good! The secret is making a blueberry jam with a cup of blueberrys and some sugar, and then swirling that into the muffin batter. Every bite has awesome blueberry flavor!

Late Night Post!

Its gettin late here and I'm gettin tired, but the boy is still playing video games. But I thought I'd do a quick recap.

BOO to Auburn winning the National Championship.
YAY that the Jets are going another week!
YAY that Conan was all new tonight!
BOO to another 6-12 inches of snow, which will fall on top of the 3 inches of snow we got over the weekend, which fell on top of the 20 inches of snow we got right after Christmas.
YAY that I picked up some of the Parisian Anthology page protectors, they will go perfect in my Memorabilia album! If you want them, I suggest getting them now! They are in short supply everywhere.

I'll leave you with a picture of Piggy in her new Jets zip-up that she got from Santa for Christmas. She is more excited than anyone to see Mark Sanchez playing again next week!
