If you haven't heard about Get Messy, its the TOTALLY FREE class I'll be teaching over at Creative Soup, starting on May 2nd.  We'll be getting a little bit messy with some art supplies.  Each lesson will focus on a different supply (some more native to scrapbooking than others) and how to incorporate that supply into your scrapbooking repertoire.

While I can't reveal the whole project to you now, I can tell you the names of each of the lessons and give you a sneak peek from one of my favorite pages!

3. Inks & Inking

4. Acrylic Paints

5. Gesso

6. Watercolors

7. Modeling Paste

8. Gel Mediums

Creative Soup Updates! (and sneaks)

Well, if you're anything like me,  your bracket is already WAY busted. Louisville losing early really hurt me, as well as some of the other close games. Oh well--there's always next year! At least I still have crafting to look forward to this weekend!

For those of you who aren't busy this weekend, and would love some extra scrappy inspiration---Come join us over at Creative Soup this weekend for our March Madness Crop! Its a great time to catch up on all those projects you've been putting on the backburner! We have challenges, games, prizes, and lots of fun!

I'm also doing a drawing for all Creative Soup members who start following us on Twitter or Facebook! (if you aren't already a Creative Soup member, come over and join, we're an awesome group).

And now some sneaks of what I've been working on this weekend!

And remember to come and join us over at Creative Soup this weekend! We'll be having a blast!

Finally Friday

This has just been a totally crappy week! But Friday is finally here, and the weekend will be wonderful. My Studio Calico kit came on Wednesday, and I tore through it last night! I finished up one layout and started two more!

The layouts are for this weekend's crop so I can't reveal them just yet, but here is a fun sneak of the one I'm working on right now.

I have seriously been waiting to use those houndstooth letters for like ever now. I love them on this layout. I was getting worried that they were just gonna stay in my stash forever.

We're going up to my mom's tonight for dinner, but I have to make sure to get back early because the first challenges of February's Creative Soup crop start at midnight! They will go up at Midnight and 1am respectively.
