The Flu & a Layout

Hello!

I've been struck by an awful case of the flu. I haven't been able to do much but lay on the couch and watch some TV.  Over the weekend I was able to play around a little on the laptop and edit some photos, so I'm able to share a layout I created.

I really like how this layout came out. I used the Studio Calico October Kit: Field Guide for the majority of the layout---I added the bird stamp at the top which was in a previous kit. I've been in love with all of the new Amy Tangerine products, especially the thickers and washi tape.

The journaling on the manila tag was done by running washi tape through my home printer. I really love how it came out.

It was very easy to do:
1. print out a test page with your journaling
2. grab a second clean sheet of paper and place it on top of your test page, put the washi tape where your text would be
3. run it through the printer with the same settings as your test page
4. make sure to let it dry after it comes out of the printer, or it will smear.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Get Messy: The Me Book

Today I'll be sharing a canvas album with you.  This is the album that I orginally designed my Get Messy class around.  Get Messy is currently running again over at ScrapFreak.com, new lessons are posted every Thursday.

Each page is written about in detail with step-by-step photos in each of the lessons. You can download all the lessons here: Get Messy
Thanks for taking a look at my project and participating in Get Messy!

Challenge: Your Personality

Today I'm going to share a layout with you. I've been putting forth an effort to scrap more about myself--in an abstract way.  I'm trying harder to document how I think about things, how I feel about things, what I want, etc.  This layout was inspired by a challenge over at www.thecreativesoup.com

From Jessica Bree: I love taking personality tests. They help you think about what makes you unique and about how you deal with others and the world in general. This week your challenge is to use a personality test or quiz to inspire a layout about an aspect of your personality. Anything can work from how you are introverted to how your attention to detail helps you in your job.
Requirements: Create a layout (or mini) about at least one aspect of your personality and journal (at least 50 words) about how this aspect impacts your life. Don't feel this has to be serious... its okay to make fun of ourselves sometimes

And here is my layout: Introverted and Intuitive

Thanks for stopping by, and please check out the great Mojo Monday challenges offered by Creative Soup.
