What's going on in Week Two:
- Jeffrey & I went to Southern California
- Disneyland
- Random pics from the first few days of our trip
This week came together pretty quickly. I'm really enjoying the combination of the Studio Calico Project Life kit and the Seafoam Core Kit.
Details: Jeffrey & I at Disneyland. It was so cold in So Cal that Jeffrey bought himself a cute jacket to wear while we were at the park || The Delta terminal at LaGuardia airport in NYC was filled with iPad minis. Each seat had one and you could order food and drinks right to your seat.
Details: Elle's Studio brand new You & Me cutouts were perfect for the lovey journaling & a pop of color. || I took a lot of front facing pictures with my iPhone, so I kept those pics small so they wouldn't be too blurry.
Details: I took this picture from the top of Griffith Park, it was pretty surreal to be on top of a mountain and see the ocean. Griffith Park was definitely my favorite place in LA. || Elle's Studio Circle tag at the bottom added just a little something to the photo (if you like the look of this line, it's featured in my new mini-book kit).

Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea for pictures. Very modern
ReplyDeleteLove this! So beautiful, and what a keepsake!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Holly :)
ReplyDeleteI loooove your PL layouts. I really enjoy your incorporation of what looks like 2x2 Instagram photos? 1.5x1.5? Anyway, your style is really unique and fun, and inspiring to me who is trying Project Life for the first time -- and sans children! :)
ReplyDeleteThey're about 2x2. I think some are 2.1x2.1 and a few are 1.9 -- I kinda just go with it sometimes. And thank you so much! I love finding other people who do PL without kids! We're like a secret society trying to find each other lol.
ReplyDeleteI love your layout and journaling style!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Vicki!
ReplyDeleteIt was so awesome to get to meet you! It looks like you have enjoyed SoCal to the fullest!
ReplyDeleteYou too sweets!
ReplyDeleteLove your layouts. They are so interesting and fun. It also seems that we are local to each other. I'm in Westchester County and often fly out of LGA. Additionally, I love your writing style and love how you give details that support what we are looking at on your pages. It is like a personal tour.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Theresa! Those are such nice words. & Yep we are local-ish. I'm in Bergen County NJ; so not too far :)
ReplyDeleteYour layouts keep me wanting to do MORE with my layouts rather than the simple photos + words I've been doing lately. I love everything about your layout this week!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a wonderful compliment! <3 Thank you so much. PL is one of those projects that just feels so 'me' when I'm doing it and when I'm done with it.
ReplyDeleteThe "Today Currently" is a great idea. I'm not doing PL right now but a few years ago I did an album with two pages each month and answered those same questions each month. Looking back on it now I 'm so glad I did! Little details of my life that would have been forgotten. I love your layouts and your style!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily! I'm really excited for the Currently project. I can't wait to look back on it and see how things changed and how they stayed the same!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great! You're doing such fun work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Merrick!
ReplyDeleteSo love what you are doing. I have completed three weeks so far...just basic but I think I'm finally organized for it. Yours is an inspiration for sure.
ReplyDeleteBasic is good! its all about documenting your story. The more you get comfortable with it; the more you'll find little places to add extras here and there:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful page! Such great ideas! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteYour Project Life is always so damn impressive. I might need to try it out >.>
ReplyDeleteYou should!! I would love to see what you do with it
ReplyDeleteGorgeous page!! I love the currently card. Vacations are definitely my favorite to scrap...so many exciting photos!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Linda! It's always helpful when there's some exciting stuff going on :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I was totally scared to venture out of Design F land too! But I really loved those two 4x6 photos and I didn't want to make them any smaller; so I bit the bullet and went with it.
ReplyDeleteCool colors! I'm kinda scared to venture out of Design F Page Protector land... so this spread makes me feel a little better about doing so haha. AND! I hope you enjoyed Disneyland :) How was Captain EO?? :D
ReplyDeleteomg. Captain EO was UNREAL! I can't even believe that was a real thing.
ReplyDeleteGreat page! Love that page protector design and how many photos you got on the page. Looks like a fun week.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great week Tammy! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI love the layouts... there fabulous.. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Elisa:)
ReplyDeleteI adore this!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. What size photos are those? Wallet? I need to print smaller photos for my layouts.
ReplyDeleteThey vary a little bit; but most of them are between 1.9" and 2.1". I dragged them onto a photoshop 8.5x11 canvas and printed all the pictures out on one page.
